The Challenge
To support the needs of a large manufacturing facility whose owners are making a multi-billion, critical investment in the Valley of the Sun, the city of Phoenix commissioned essential utility structure improvements entitled the Northwest Water and Wastewater Master Plan Package 3.
The manufacturing process at this facility, within the fastest growing county in the U.S. – Maricopa, will create thousands of direct and indirect jobs – while also requiring, what is likely, an unprecedented amount of water. To support the wastewater needs of this project, Rinker Materials was selected by Sundt to complete a 54” and 48” gravity sewer main.
To meet the important objectives of this development on time, the water and wastewater infrastructure construction would be placed on a fast-track for completion.
